Compassion Doctor & Staff I was referred to Dr Olson after 3 Basal cell carcinomas were successfully removed by my dermatologist. This being said , I chose to make an appointment for a consult before my scheduled consult so my brain wouldn't be clouded with anxiety after these procedures. It was a good idea , if I say so myself, and the (very) good doctor agreed with me. That taken care of , professionally and with considerable kindness by Dr. Olson and his immediate staff ( Mercy and Melissa ) was on spot , no, beyond on spot , spottest ! I was impressed beyond all expectations. I had 3 basals , one on my forehead and two on my nose ( one on the very tip , dead center, middle of my face, not a great look unless you're a flying reindeer ). I was anxious about changing bandages because I have an essential tremor and everyone there was more than supportive offering to change my bandages daily if needed. Due to a schedule change, this Good Doctor even opened his office for me on a Saturday to accommodate a "look see" and bandage change. From the front desk folks to all his support staff , I am welcomed and taken care of with respect, care and in an exceptionally timely manner. My next appointment is a month from now to see if I might need a skin graft ( should my schnoz tip not self-heal to my satisfaction ). If a graft is in order, I would not hesitate to have Dr. Olson do the procedure. I've been around a very (very) long time and other than a GP I saw for 25 years , I have never had the care , attention or concern extended to me by Dr. Olson and his superior staff. Am I overly impressed ( rhetorical question ) ? Well , yeah !
The most wonderful surgeon out there. Dr Olson is seriously the best. I've never met another surgeon who takes the time to talk, explain, and go into detail about everything. We had multiple calls and video calls before the procedure. Not only was he the kindest, but he is incredibly skilled. My confidence has skyrocketed after my procedure. It honestly changed my life. I'm so so happy I went with him and travelled out of state. Worth it X100!
